Not Bad After All

Let's evaluate our business. Today we are 1000 days old.
26 June 2013 to today 22 March 2016. Exactly 1000 days from our first signed project!

1000 days ago, we started with only my husband and I + 1 staff. three of us working in a 15m2 office space. Today we are a small company with just over 2.5 Billion in revenue. Having 11 staffs in 100m2 office and growing.

I cannot believe how far we've come! We have some wrong turns and bad days, but looking back, it is actually not that bad. We learned to understand how to run this business better. And we survived, that's one good achievement. We grow bigger, that's another achievement.

I often nag about the problems and the challenges that never seems to cease. As the principal architect and wife of the boss, I am overwhelmed by the gap between where we are and where we want to be that I forget to look back and be thankful for our achievements. Up to today we have more than 30 projects done. And guess what? I am the principal architect!
And by the way, I think it's fair to say that I waste unproductive 12 months due to marriage preparation, pregnancy and post pregnancy matter. And with Indonesia's employers quality and lack of experiences, we accomplished so far! I should have proud of myself and stop being so depressed about the challenges (that never seems to end).

The only problem is that I'm running out of gas. Man... I'm tired.I'm going to list the heartbreaking shits so my future self can thank me =
  1. When our staff ask for a raise while they don't contribute.
  2. When they treat me like "ah, you're young and I know better" but does not perform.
  3. Every time they gossiping on me.
  4. Every time they do mistakes.
  5. Every time they take my orders as "I'll do it later" and took a week to get done, and I have to constantly ask them to deliver their work.
  6. When we work our best, but our client complain.
  7. When we hit the mile, but the client don't want to pay.
  8. When the suppliers chase us to give them orders.
  9. When our machine/ computer//phone/internet/anything broken.
  10. When I have arguments with hubby about how we can improve our work.
  11. When I have to console complains.
  12. when I have to push a sales.
  13. When I have to work extra hours, while my staffs go home with no burden at all.
  14. When I have to sacrifice my time with my baby.
Our company is far from perfect. But I'm excited to see how good we can work in the future. No one could have thought that we can travel this far. but we did. And so, finger crossed for the future.
